This is an interim privacy policy for VILLAGE's founding member waitlist phase. A full legally-reviewed policy will be published before Village launches publicly.
When you join the VILLAGE founding member waitlist, we collect your first and last name, email address, Manhattan neighborhood, your children's age range, and the types of parenting support you are looking for.
We use this information solely to build VILLAGE and to communicate with you about its development. Your data helps us understand where VILLAGE is needed most and what support matters to parents in your area. We will never sell your data to third parties. We will never share your information with advertisers.
Your data is stored securely via Tally (form collection) and MailerLite (email communications). Both platforms comply with GDPR requirements and store data securely. No other third parties have access to your information.
If you join the waitlist you may receive occasional updates from VILLAGE about our progress and development. You can unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email we send you. We will never send you unsolicited commercial messages.
We will retain your information for as long as VILLAGE is in development or until you request deletion. If VILLAGE does not launch, we will delete all collected data and notify waitlist members.
You have the right to access, update, or delete your data at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email us directly at laura@villagecollective.nyc and we will respond within 5 business days.
